I hope you have been able to see my last several blogs telling you about this
amazing course I’m taking taught by Dr. Annette Bosworth (Dr. Boz) with the most different approach I’ve ever seen to the ketogenic diet. I’ve studied this diet for three years and it’s the ONLY one I’ve studied that truly uses the science, the chemistry, in a continuum to produce the affects that ketones can have on healing the body.
In one of her first videos she talks about living in the midwest where in the past shady people would come through there selling snake oil claiming to cure everything from clearer thoughts to inflammation to cancer. When Dr. Boz started researching the Keto diet in a desperate attempt to heal her dying mom of cancer, she was very skeptical of all the research because of the proof of so much success in reversing and/or curing
diseases, such as:

Her mom is now 76 and cancer free and her Internal Medicine practice where she treated brain injuries, diseases, addictions, cancer, heart issues, and diabetes for 20 years switched to treating thousands of patients with this ketogenic protocol. She wants the world to know and heal and she has worked out the program, step by step, in this diet and her hope is those of us who were blessed to get in on the first pilot course will establish a support group and share her teaching videos.
We live in a time when we can no longer ignore the health crisis at hand. It is an epidemic due to poor lifestyle habits, but maybe even worse is the less visible situation that exists among a catastrophic number of people whose health dilemmas are not being remedied or resolved by the current standards of care. People are walking around who appear healthy but who are suffering terribly on the inside. During this pandemic, we have seen that the people who suffer from some of the above health issues were the ones who succumbed to the Covid 19. It is time for us to take our health into our own hands as much as possible and make some life-saving changes.
Today I am giving you one of my favorite recipes, especially when I really want something that might feel like some “crappy carbs” of the past. It is filling, delicious and so satisfying and this is a crust that has unlimited uses! I’ve given you a similar crust recipe before, but this one is even easier and you just can’t go wrong!
Miracle Dough
This is also called Fathead Pizza Dough, and there are many versions as it seems to be a pretty forgivable dough that turns into pizza, rolls, cinnamon rolls, focaccia, crust, pie, turnovers, etc. hence my name for it-Miracle Dough!
Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¾ cup almond flour
2 tablespoons cream cheese
1 large egg
1 teaspoon dried rosemary or Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic salt
Preheat oven to 350. Have four large pieces of parchment paper and two baking sheets (if making two 12-inch pizza crust for 16 servings) or two sheets if a large rectangle like my picture.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the cheese, almond flour, and cream cheese and heat in the microwave oven until the cheese melts, about 1 minute. Mix together until completely combined. Add the egg and the seasonings and mix until a sticky, stiff dough forms. Let cool for about 5 minutes. Divide the dough into two pieces if making two.
Place the dough on one sheet of parchment and lay a second piece of parchment over the top. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a 12-inch round (for two) or a large rectangle for one. Slide the parchment paper with the dough onto the baking sheet.
Repeat with the second piece of dough if making two. Bake for 10 minutes. Toppings are unlimited. For this one, I smeared the top of the crust with a couple of spoons of no-sugar marinara, pepperoni, some sliced smoked
sausage, some leftover cooked crumbled sausage and a couple pieces of cooked bacon.
Then I topped with cheese of choice and a sprinkle of grated parmesan. Bake for about 10 more minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!!
